The Forever of Ella and Micha

Ella and Micha have survived tragedy and heartbreak. When they're together, anything seems possible. But now they are thousands of miles apart, and managing their long distance relationship will put their love to the test.

Ella is back at school, trying hard not worry so much about her future. But with her father in and out of rehab, she's having a hard time making it through the days. All she wants is Micha by her side, but she refuses to let her problems get in the way of his dreams.

Micha spends his days touring the country with his band, but deep down he knows something is missing. Being away from Ella is harder than he thought it would be. He wants her closer to him-needs her with him. But he won't ask her to leave college, just to be with him.

The few moments they do spend together are intense and passionate, but it only makes it more difficult when they have to part. They know they want to be together, but is wanting something enough to get them to their forever?

I really loved this book! I enjoyed it so much, and I just love Ella and Micha. They're so perfect together and the fact that Micha is always fighting for her, trying to keep her even when she's trying to push him away because she think it's whats best for him. Micha's devotion to Ella is just adorable and amazing.

I liked that the story wasn't all about Ella and Micha, but also about Ella going to therapy and getting herself better. I thought it was really admirable of Ella to want to get better, make herself happy before she goes back to being in a relationship with Micha because she wanted to focus more on getting better. All the characters in this book are extremely well-written and they feel so real. I loved that it wasn't just all about Ella's problems but also about Micha's problems too. Ella and Micha compliment each other really well, Micha is always there for Ella and supporting her through everything when she lets him, and she is there for him to try and help him through his problems with alcohol.

Overall, this book was amazing and you should definitely read it! If you haven't read the first book, The Secret of Ella and Micha, definitely go and buy right now and read it, then buy this one and read it too!

The Distance Between Us

The Distance Between Us by Kasie West

Synopsis: Seventeen-year-old Caymen Meyers studies the rich like her own personal science experiment, and after years of observation she’s pretty sure they’re only good for one thing—spending money on useless stuff, like the porcelain dolls in her mother’s shop.

So when Xander Spence walks into the store to pick up a doll for his grandmother, it only takes one glance for Caymen to figure out he’s oozing rich. Despite his charming ways and that he’s one of the first people who actually gets her, she’s smart enough to know his interest won’t last. Because if there’s one thing she’s learned from her mother’s warnings, it’s that the rich have a short attention span. But Xander keeps coming around, despite her best efforts to scare him off. And much to her dismay, she's beginning to enjoy his company.

She knows her mom can’t find out—she wouldn’t approve. She’d much rather Caymen hang out with the local rocker who hasn’t been raised by money. But just when Xander’s attention and loyalty are about to convince Caymen that being rich isn’t a character flaw, she finds out that money is a much bigger part of their relationship than she’d ever realized. And that Xander’s not the only one she should’ve been worried about.

This was a super amazing, sweet and funny book! I loved every second of it! I started reading this book a few hours before bed, just as a book to read to help me fall asleep but that ended up not happening because I just couldn't put this book down. Caymen and Xander's relationship kept me interested throughout the entire book. I love Caymen, she's so hilarious and so sarcastic, I just love her. This books was really refreshing, not a super cliche and typical romance which I really enjoyed.

I really enjoyed Caymen, she had such an amazing personality, like I said she's hilarious and she's a great daughter, always helping her mom out with the doll store. I really loved her sarcastic and dry humour, it just made this book even more enjoyable. Xander and Caymen both bring out different things in each other, Xander brings out the vulnerable side of Caymen while Caymen also bring out the adventurous side of Xander. I like that Xander and Caymen aren't the typical couple because her and her mom have financial problems while Xander's family is really rich.

I really enjoyed this book, I think it was the perfect amount of romance and it had a really great build up. Overall, this book definitely met my expectations and I definitely plan to check out more of Kasie West's books.

Where She Went

Where She Went by Gayle Forman

  Synopsis:

It's been three years since the devastating accident . . . three years since Mia walked out of Adam's life forever. Now living on opposite coasts, Mia is Juilliard's rising star and Adam is LA tabloid fodder, thanks to his new rock star status and celebrity girlfriend. When Adam gets stuck in New York by himself, chance brings the couple together again, for one last night. As they explore the city that has become Mia's home, Adam and Mia revisit the past and open their hearts to the future - and each other. Told from Adam's point of view in the spare, lyrical prose that defined If I Stay, Where She Went explores the devastation of grief, the promise of new hope, and the flame of rekindled romance.

This is the sequel of If I Stay which was told in Mia's point of view. I really enjoyed this book and I just loved reading it through Adam's point of view. This books shows heartbreak, but it also shows rekindled love. Where She Went shows just how much Adam and Mia have both grown up and how they've both changed. In this book we see how far they've both come and how much each of them have developed. I love the chemistry they both have together and I absolutely loved when Adam would remember memories of him, Mia and Mia's family from when Adam and Mia were dating, I thought it was so adorable. I'm so in love with Mia and Adam's relationship, they're just the cutest things ever!
